AI for Good with micro:bit Competition

Organised by CLASSROOM and co-organised by Smart City Consortium, the AI for Good with micro:bit Competition will challenge students to tackle real-world problems using micro: bit and the CreateAI platform. Participants will leverage AI and STEAM technology to build innovative prototypes that solve community issues.

HK GeoAI Youth Challenge 2026: Shaping a Smarter City

Organised by Esri China (HK) and GIS Academy, and co-organised by Smart City Consortium, this challenge will invite secondary students to explore GeoAI using the ArcGIS ecosystem. Combining Data Science and Geography, students will process big data and utilize AI for spatial analysis. Finalists will pitch live at LTE, showcasing how AI education fosters Hong Kong’s next generation of I.T. talent.

Organised by PRISTER and co-organised by Smart City Consortium, the Global True True Challenge will merge Chinese culture with technology through tangible programming. It will build scientific foundations, teamwork, and proactive learning. By showcasing how STEAM fosters creativity and problem-solving, the competition will deepen parents' understanding of interdisciplinary education while enhancing students' interest in traditional values and strengthening their national identity.

International Youth Tech-Ed Competition 2026 (IoT Category)

Organised by International Youth STEAM Education Association (IYSEA) and co-organised by Smart City Consortium, the International Youth STEAM Education Competition 2026 (IoT Category) aims to cultivate students' innovation in Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence. Students will design and code IoT solutions based on the annual theme "AI Competing for the Future," selecting from topics such as Smart City, Smart Home, Healthcare, or Environmental Monitoring to create intelligent applications that integrate AI technology.
