Celebrating a decade of innovative leadership, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust presents the JC InnoPower Education Fellowship Lab Cafe at the Learning and Teaching Expo 2026. This dynamic, three-day event features (1) a two-day theatre workshop and (2) a one-day cafe showcasing innovation and thought leadership across six core themes:

Well-being

Artificial intelligence has made knowledge more accessible than ever, fundamentally reshaping traditional educational models, the role of schools, and the work of educators. At the same time, a new generation of students is placing greater emphasis on mental well-being, personal meaning, and ownership of their learning.

In response, a dedicated group of educators is reimagining teaching and learning by challenging conventional approaches. They are harnessing innovation to ignite students’ motivation to learn, placing well-being at the heart of holistic development, and fostering more flexible, supportive, and inclusive school cultures and learning environments. Through these efforts, they are bringing to life a truly human-centred vision of education.

Neurodiversity

Reimagining Co-Learning: By blending AI and innovation, we move beyond "catering to differences" to let SEN thrive on their unique strengths. Join experienced educators as they share how tiny classroom discoveries spark global impact, ensuring these students live just as brilliant!

Student-Teacher Partnership

When teacher–student co-creation becomes the foundation of classroom practice and class culture, how might we anchor learning in respect and relationships, spark genuine motivation, and cultivate a climate of trust and autonomy?

Community Classroom

Traditional classroom structures and assessments focus primarily on building a foundation of knowledge for students. However, in the face of a rapidly changing future, the boundaries of learning are constantly expanding. How can teaching break through these established frameworks to deeply connect knowledge with the real world—inspiring students to transform what they learn into the power to respond to an evolving era?

Digital and AI

When answers are no longer scarce, the purpose of education becomes all the clearer.

AI can respond to anything in an instant—yet it can never replace the inspiration shared between human hearts. This is a transformation of education: from mastering technology to co-learning with AI, and ultimately forging human-AI teaching partnerships.

Let us rediscover together: in the age of AI, what are the core capabilities that remain uniquely and irreplaceably human?

Career and Life Development

As disruptive technology swiftly dismantles traditional career safety nets, true success has evolved far beyond the metrics of a report card. Standing at this crossroads, how can educators and students gracefully navigate the tension between seeking security and pursuing ambition?
